What your typical day will look like
- Analyze current supply chain process and find cost-effective solutions
- Select and procure suitable, cost-effective, and competitive biomass
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
- Comprehend requirements of biomass fuels
- Evaluate cost comparisons of biomass fuels seasonally
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure more profitable deals
What you need to succeed in this role
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- 3-4 years of relevant experience preferably in a large manufacturing unit
- Strong knowledge of biomass fuels is mandatory
- Attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
